Haite Aviation Training Singapore (referred to as HAITE Singapore), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chengdu based Haite High-Tech Co. Ltd in Sichuan, China, opened its training facilities officially in April 2015. The $95.3 million six-storey HAITE building which spans over 21,000 sqm, located in Changi Business Park will be able to house 7 flight simulators at full capacity, making it the largest independent Aviation Training Centre in Singapore for commercial pilots and related aviation crew. The HAITE training facility currently has the Boeing 737-800W series 7000 Full Flight Simulator and the Airbus A320 Series 7000 Full Flight Simulator and Airbus A320 Integrated Procedure Trainer (IPT). HAITE Singapore will be looking to expand its existing facility aggressively by adding another 5 more FULL Flight Simulators over the next 5 years to cater to the growing demand for Aviation Training in the region and potentially attracting some $55 million in direct and indirect revenues per annum for the Singapore economy.
As HAITE Group’s first aviation training centre outside of China, HAITE Singapore is the group’s international headquarters to expand its reach in the region. The group will continue to invest its resources in areas of aviation MRO, R&D and training to provide its customers with excellent services and products that they’ve come to associate with HAITE.
HAITE Building – Premium Business Park Space in Changi Business Park
This 6-storey 21,000 sqm premium building, on 15 Changi Business Park is located within a stone’s throw from EXPO MRT Station and the retail mall Changi City Point. The building has an impressionable facade, dedicated passenger drop-off point and basement car parking with 79 lots for both tenants and visitors to the building. There will also be a cafeteria on the ground floor with a seating capacity of 60 pax. Haite Aviation Training will be utilizing levels 2 and 3 for its training facility for airline pilots and its related crew. Levels 4,5,6 are currently available for external tenants. There is an open pantry (wet) on each level and dedicated meeting rooms will be made available upon request by tenants, thereby reducing the amount of underutilized space, thus making it more economical for tenants within the building.
There is a full facility boardroom with teleconferencing capabilities on level 7, along with a function room that with a 100-pax seating capacity (theatre style). A service room is made available beside the function room so that caterers can do their preparation discreetly. The roof garden provides a much needed occasional respite for the overworked executive during and after office hours.
With units ranging from 1,252 sf to over 25,000 sf for lease, the space suits IT, media companies, software solutions and systems providers as well as complementary services in the automotive or aviation industries.
